Cartier Santos Watches

Louis Cartier made the first Santos in 1904 for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, who wanted to read the time without taking his hands off the controls. The exposed screws on the bezel and bracelet have defined it ever since, and the 2018 Santos de Cartier added a QuickSwitch strap system and SmartLink bracelet adjustment that make it one of the most practical luxury watches to own. Introduced in 1904, the Santos has been made in Santos de Cartier in small (35.1 mm), medium (35.1 mm) and large (39.8 mm); Santos 100 in 38 and 51 mm; Santos Galbée in several sizes, powered by caliber 1847 MC in the current Santos de Cartier, with quartz and ETA-based calibers in earlier Galbée and 100 pieces.
