Swiss Watches GA, LLC, doing business as Swiss Watches Dot Com ("Swiss Watches Dot Com," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit swisswatches.com (the "Site"), create an account, buy, sell, or trade a watch, contact us, visit our showroom, or sign up for our email or text messages. Swiss Watches Dot Com is an independent dealer of pre-owned luxury watches. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or an authorized dealer of any watch manufacturer.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Contact and account information: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and account login details. You can sign in with a one-time code sent by text or email.

  • Purchase and transaction information: watches purchased, order history, payment method type, shipping and delivery details, trade-ins, warranty claims, and authenticity guarantee claims.

  • Payment information: payment card and checkout details are collected and processed directly by our payment and financing providers. Swiss Watches Dot Com does not store full payment card numbers.

  • Identity verification information: for fraud prevention on purchases, and as required by law when we buy or accept a watch in trade, we may collect a government-issued photo ID, date of birth, payment-card verification materials, proof of ownership, or video-call verification.

  • Information about watches you sell or trade to us: brand, reference and serial numbers, photos, box and papers, service records, receipts, and the details of our offer and payment to you.

  • Communications: emails, phone calls, live chat, WhatsApp and text conversations, appointment requests, watch-search requests, reviews, and anything else you choose to send us. Calls may be recorded for quality and security purposes; we will tell you at the start of any recorded call.

  • Marketing preferences: your email address and/or mobile number if you subscribe, along with your stated interests (for example, preferred brands or models).

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages and listings viewed, search terms, referring sites, cart activity, time on site, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

  • Email and text engagement: whether you open our emails or click links in our emails and text messages.

  • Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, as described in Section 6.

Information from other sources:

  • Service providers such as payment processors, financing providers, fraud-prevention services, shipping carriers, and marketing platforms.

  • Our affiliate, Icebox Diamonds & Watches ("Icebox"), when you transact with both companies, such as a cross-brand trade.

  • Advertising and social media platforms, when you interact with our ads or social media pages.

We do not use facial recognition or collect biometric identifiers. ID images and video verification are reviewed by our staff only to confirm identity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Process, verify, fulfill, ship, and insure your orders.

  • Buy, evaluate, and pay for watches you sell or trade to us, and keep the transaction records the law requires.

  • Provide our Limited Warranty, Lifetime Authenticity Guarantee, trade-ins, and customer support.

  • Verify identity, review flagged orders, and prevent fraud, theft, and the sale or purchase of stolen goods.

  • Create and manage your account, including one-time-code sign-in.

  • Find watches you ask us to locate, and notify you when matching inventory arrives.

  • Send marketing emails and text messages where you have consented or where the law allows (see Section 5).

  • Personalize your experience, including recommendations based on watches you have viewed or bought.

  • Measure and improve our Site, advertising, and communications.

  • Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from authorities, enforce our Terms and policies, and protect our rights and the safety of our customers.

3. How We Disclose Your Information

We disclose personal information only to the following:

  • Commerce and technology providers, including Shopify and the tools we use to run our Site, checkout, accounts, inventory, and customer service.

  • Payment and financing providers, including card processors, accelerated checkout providers, and financing providers you choose to use.

  • Shipping, insurance, and logistics providers that deliver and insure your watch.

  • Marketing and communications providers, including our email and SMS platforms. They process your information only on our behalf.

  • Advertising and analytics partners, through cookies and pixels on our Site (see Section 6).

  • Watch service partners, including manufacturer service centers and independent authenticators, when we send a watch for warranty service or authentication.

  • Our affiliate, Icebox Diamonds & Watches, to process cross-brand trades, coordinate customer service, and maintain shared business operations. Icebox will not send you marketing texts based on consent you gave Swiss Watches Dot Com.

  • Law enforcement and government authorities, where required by law, including reporting obligations that apply to dealers who buy secondhand goods, or where necessary to investigate fraud or stolen property.

  • Professional advisors, such as attorneys, accountants, auditors, and insurers.

  • Business transfer parties, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

  • Other parties, with your consent or at your direction.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Our use of advertising cookies and pixels may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or "targeted advertising," under some state laws. You can opt out as described in Section 8.

Text messaging data: we do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

4. Fraud Prevention and Verification

Because we sell and buy high-value watches, we use automated fraud screening and manual review. If an order or a sale to us requires verification, we may ask for a government ID, card verification, proof of ownership, or a video call. If verification isn't completed, the transaction may be delayed or cancelled. We use verification information only for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. We do not use it for marketing.

5. Email and Text Message Marketing

  • Email. If you subscribe, we may email you new arrivals, watch-search alerts, private offers, event invitations, and cart reminders. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

  • Text messages (SMS/MMS). If you opt in, Swiss Watches Dot Com may send recurring automated marketing text messages to the mobile number you provide, including new arrivals, price drops, private offers, and cart reminders.

    • Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

    • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

    • Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (770) 584-1378 or info@swisswatches.com.

    • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

    • Your SMS consent applies to messages from Swiss Watches Dot Com only.

  • Transactional messages. Even if you opt out of marketing, we will still send messages about your orders, shipping, account sign-in codes, warranty claims, trades, and other non-promotional matters.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies:

  • Essential: required for sign-in, cart, checkout, and security.

  • Preferences: remember your settings and recently viewed watches.

  • Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the Site.

  • Advertising: used by us and our advertising partners (for example, Meta and Google) to show you relevant ads on other sites and to measure campaign results.

You can manage your choices through the "Your Privacy Choices" link at the bottom of every page. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device sending the signal.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Order, warranty, and authenticity records: for as long as the original purchaser may make a claim under our Limited Warranty or Lifetime Authenticity Guarantee, and as long as required for tax and accounting.

  • Records of watches we buy or take in trade: for the period required by applicable secondhand-dealer laws.

  • Identity verification materials: only as long as needed to complete verification, resolve any dispute, and meet legal obligations, then deleted.

  • Marketing data: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we don't contact you again.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you.

  • Correct inaccurate information.

  • Delete your personal information.

  • Obtain a portable copy of your information.

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information and of targeted advertising.

  • Limit our use of sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers) to what is needed to provide our services. We do not use sensitive personal information for any other purpose.

  • Appeal our decision on your request.

We will verify your identity before acting on access, correction, or deletion requests. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and ask you to confirm your identity directly.

Some requests may be limited where we must keep information to complete a transaction, honor a warranty or authenticity claim, prevent fraud, or comply with the law. If we deny your request, we will explain why. You may appeal by replying to our decision within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state attorney general.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

California residents: in the past 12 months we have collected the categories described in Section 1, from the sources described in Section 1, for the purposes described in Section 2, and disclosed them to the recipients described in Section 3. You may also request information about disclosures for direct marketing under California Civil Code §1798.83.

9. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. These include encrypted checkout, restricted access to identity verification materials, and staff confidentiality obligations. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law. Keep your account sign-in codes private, and contact us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

10. Children

Our Site and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Sites and Services

Our Site may link to third-party services, such as payment and financing providers, carriers, WhatsApp, and social media. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle your information.

12. International Visitors

Swiss Watches Dot Com is based in the United States. If you visit the Site or transact with us from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or a prominent notice on the Site before they take effect.
