The Tank's rectangular case and parallel brancards were drawn by Louis Cartier in 1917 from the plan view of a Renault tank, and it has been worn by everyone from Jackie Kennedy to Andy Warhol. Each line interprets it differently: the Louis Cartier is the classic dress version, the Française wears an integrated bracelet, the Américaine is curved and elongated, and the Must brought it back in steel in 2021. Introduced in 1917, the Tank has been made in varies by line: Tank Must small and large, Tank Louis Cartier, Tank Française small, medium and large, Tank Américaine, Tank Solo and Tank Anglaise, powered by quartz in most Tank Must and Française pieces, with manual and automatic mechanical calibers in Louis Cartier, Américaine and larger references.
